How Do We Veil Dental Imperfections With Crowns?
Our professional team of dentists complete the dental crown procedure in two clinical visits. The first appointment with us involves taking X-rays and closely observing the structure of your tooth and severity of the damage. We understand if there is a need for any other treatment before starting the process, such as treating any infection. We will take care of that before implementing the dental crown procedure. During the dental crown procedure, we numb the area with local anesthesia to ensure you are comfortable during the procedure. We then create space for the crown by filing and reshaping the tooth. Once the tooth is filed, we take the impression of the tooth and let our orthodontist accurately prepare the custom-made crown. All these functions in the first appointment last for 30 minutes to an hour. We do provide a temporary crown for the period between the two visits. Once the crown is ready, we schedule the second appointment to fit the custom-made crown over the tooth and secure it in place with a permanent bonding solution.
