Meet Dr. Paul Chapman

Patients’ Welfare is the Top Priority

I’ve been practicing dentistry for more than 40 years; during that time I have always made each patient’s wellbeing the priority. Whether that means referring a person to a specialist for a procedure or encouraging them to seek a second opinion, it’s about what’s in their best interests, not ours. It’s essential patients know we want them to be comfortable, fully informed, and excited to part of caring for their oral health.

During the years I’ve been a dentist I’ve had the opportunity to meet and build an honest, respectful rapport with many people. It’s an honor to now be seeing second and third generations for the same family. I truly cannot imagine a stronger show of confidence in the dental care we provide.

I am passionate about working closely with each patient, eliminating dental disease, teaching and supporting them as they improve their health and, above all, celebrating their success in life. I look forward to coming to the office every day because it’s not about me: it’s about the people.

The Practice

Our office is a family. We care about each other and we care about our patients. We don’t pressure people into treatment. Instead, we diagnose the issues and present the different treatment options, explaining each and encouraging questions. It’s up to the person to decide when to start and what to do: we’re here to serve and help them, not the other way around.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc), University of Toronto
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), University of Toronto

Dentistry has made incredible advancements in the years since I first started seeing patients. We’re now able to do so many more things, comfortably, and deliver lasting, beautiful results.

  • Alberta Dental Association

Beyond the Office

I was born and raised in rural Ontario. My wife Kathy and I have been married for 35 years and live in SW Calgary within walking distance of the office. We’ve raised three remarkable, community-oriented children. They are now spread across the continent but love coming home to visit and we love having them here.

When not caring for patients, I like playing hockey and golfing, visiting parents, and enjoying my family.
