I prepare the treatment area, seat our patient, and prep them for the procedure, explaining what will happen. Working chairside, I assist the doctor while checking that our patient is comfortable. When finished, I provide post-op instructions and make sure our patient is happy with the care they’ve received.
I grew up in Lethbridge, moved away for University, and came to Calgary after. I’m happily married, have two great kids, and a 170 lbs. Bull Mastiff, too! Outside of work, spending as much time as possible with my family is where my heart is.
My duties as a dental assistant are comprehensive and varied in our office. I perform many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. I enjoy working directly, yet independantly with the dentist to provide a high level of dental treatment for our patients in a caring and compassionate enviroment.
My husband Doug and I enjoy volunteering with PALS at the Calgary Airport. I also like road cycling and international travel.
Our doctors and staff respect your unique dental needs and desires. We’ll thoroughly explain all treatment options, directly answer your questions, and make sure you have all the information you need to decide on care. We provide the guidance but you make the decisions: this is your smile, after all!
